Well I finally hit 40lbs lost.  I have been at a stall for over a week and was not happy.  I also had my first episode of getting food stuck.  WOW not a good feeling.  It was chicken, which I hear causes trouble for some people.  I was able to throw up and get rid of it but OMG do NOT want to experience that again.  I immediately threw away my planned lunch of chicken as I do not need to have that experience at work...guess I will stick to ham and cheese.  Well gotta get the kiddos up and running.  Have a good one.

Well, two "WOW" moments...  Glad to hear you are not stalling anymore.  But too bad about the chicken, I'm sure someone here will have a good suggestion for you.  Maybe you need to cut it up and add a little light mayo to it to keep it from sticking.

Have a great day at work!

40 pounds is a big deal. congratulations!! i still eat chicken with applesauce. it helps it from getting stuck. steak is something i have to be careful with. little bites and chew the crap out of it. none of us like to have food get stuck. i'm over a year out and still have to be careful on my food choices.

you're doing a great job. enjoy the rest of the ride!

Chicken is still a problem for me (and at times ALL meat is) if it isn't cooked right. I have to make sure it is cooked all the way, maybe even a little over cooked, and has NO trace of skin (we usually eat boneless skinless breast meat at home but if we are going out or summer BBQ's....) make sure they are small SMALL peices or ground up and remember CHEW CHEW CHEW. "Chicken salad" is still one of my fav. protein foods... and if you like hotwings (yummmmm) and can tolerate spicy foods (again....yummmm) try mixing some groun chicken with some hot sauce and "FREE" ranch dressing (you only need a little of each to add the right flavor). I ad it to lettus/tomato/cucumber salad or in a protein/flax seed wrap and it is YUMMMM... high in protein and low in fat and carbs....

Congratulation on the 40lbs that is terrific !!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry about the chicken, that does not sound very pleasant at all. I have been lucky ( I am knocking on wood) I have had no incidents at all... I hope it continues like this, so far I have been great.... Keep up the good work !!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful Tracy!
Some meats, especially if they're dry give me problems. Stewed, pot roasted, moist don't seem to bother me.
