Remember it is so important to get your fluid in.   At first it  takes a long time to get  the amount of liquid that you need  to survive and not get deydrated.  If you get dehydrated then it is a trip to hospital   you feel like crap   and it is not good for you.

For us oldies it is just as important only it is easier to get the amounts down now that we need.
Women need  at least  40 gr of protein a day  and more if you can work it in

that is the minium  and for newbies  it takes alot to get that in unless you use  protein shakes or  carnation instant breakfast for a substitute.  Milk also has great protein and  does two things at once
gets you  protein and fluid at the same time.

I am lucky i am not lactose inotolerant  before or after surgery.  but I just wanted to  remind us all
newbies and oldies  alike.   And  also

I LOVE EXERCISE   we need to  do it  even if it is walk to the bathroom  a few extra times or to the mailbox and back.  Real important for  newbies  so you dont get blood clots and for us oldies to keep our weight loss  going.

thanks for listening or reading.
