taking a well needed vacation, well kind of??

Its my 32nd Anniversary today.  I havn't had a day of vacation since last Novemeber, not even one day on a weekend.  I have MLM round the clock.  I so need some me time, and yes, I"m being as selfish as I can be.  My Dh, DS & his girlfriend  and I are spending 3 days in Boston, and going to Openning Day (REd Sox).  my point here is after my band being partially unfilled a month or so ago, and batteling the same weight with no restriction, I certainly don't need a vacation to eat out for 3 days.  I'm hopeing all the walking we will be doing will help me.  Funny how some special time can turn into a stressful time.   I just want to cancel it and stay home.

Sometimes when we go away for a few days and I think I will blow it I end up coming home and finding that I am up a pound or two and then a few days later it is gone along with some more.  Sometimes that walking and eating kind of  "resets" your metabolism.  In any case, you deserve some time away and try not to let guilt ruin it for you.

A weekend in Boston sounds like fun. Enjoy.

Make wise menu choices and you should be fine.  If you do want to splurge on something share it with DH or take the extra home for later. Pack some fruit or safe snacks so that you don't get tempted with the junk food.
