Forgot to check in with everyone yesterday to celebrate my one year Surgiversary!!! I can't believe a year has passed already!  I see Dr. Loggins tomorrow in Lewiston and I guess my NUT, had blood drawn on Monday so I am sure they will have some results but not all.
What a year this has been, besides regaining my health , energy and sense of myself, I have met so many wonderful people on this board, I feel I have made some life time friends.  This is such a unique experience that only you all know what I have been through. You lifted me up when times were tough and set me down when I needed settin'.  I wouldn't be here without all of your support.
Remembering my sister, who died Dec 05 at age 51, and my brother who died May 07 at age 46 who were the reason for me to go to the informational meeting and get this DONE-I am forever grateful to My God for seeing me through this year and giving me another chance to live longer and better.
Thank you all! Love you lots!!

Wow, I didn't realize you had lost your siblings at such young ages.  But I can relate, my father died at the age of 41, wanna guess how old I am???  I'm almost there and I realized last year when I turned 40 I needed to quit smoking, stop making excuses, and get my s**t together.  So I made that call too.

So glad to hear you have your health back, enjoy it and don't take it for granted!

Can never take my health for granted for sure.  Our father died at age 51, too, but it wasn't until the sibs started falling that I wised up...now I am working on my brother...

Congrats Kate!!!  I remember your surgery date well.  It was right before mine and I was so nervous.  You helped me, and I prayed you'd do well and so you have!!!!  Praise God!
