I am going to try doing the Weigh****chers Point program (something i did in the past...) but not sure how it is going to work with wls... I am doing this on my own w/o going to meetings (hahaha... no time for that).... has anyone else done the point? I checked it out and it should work with the protein (should...) and lower carb/fat... I am going to give myslef 15 points a day (with a 15 points a week leway...). It is easier to me then counting everything.... just need to add the points and im good...

Just a suggestion...would South Beach or Atkins be a better diet b/c WW still wants a balanced daily allowance of carbs/fat/protein etc.  Before wls surgery I found myself doing better with the SB more so than the WW b/c of that.

actually WW has the Core plan that is similar to Atkins.  You just eat those foods that are on the Core list.

I  do  ww  and ww does not have the core plan anymore   From what i understand  you need to do at least  18 points a day to get in the right amout of nutrition.

Just make sure you go low carb and higher protein.  I go to ww because i need to be accountable  to  myself and  the scale.  I have made some  great friends there.

take care.

Oh I didn't realize that, thanks Patty!   Now I know they do have another program.  Momentum? Do you do that?
