Petite? I have ANYTHING that is size petite??????

I went for my consult with Apria yesterday. Brought in my CPAP machine and mask. For the past 1 1/4 years I have used a nose covering mask, size small. I complained that air is leaking and the mask feels like it's too big- it gets into my eyes and almost below my upper lip.
Barbara read my CPAP card. I still stop breathing at night, so still need the CPAP- darned. I wanted her to read the card to see if I still needed it, or should have another sleep study. I got my answer- keep on using it.  I drive a new van-pool and want to be safe and not risk anything.

She tried a Petite size mask. PERFECT! Even my face has lost weight and changed size.

Petite- that's NEVER been in my vocabulary or size range.  This is so weird!

yeah, that weight loss in the face was a shocker to me - to the extent that I lost there - my glasses got so huge!

Stinks that you still need to use the CPAP but AWESOME being PETITE, isn't it?  Congrats!!!

One more thing to think about. I already use the petite mask... LOL I can't wait to buy shoes again that aren't giant sized.  Anyone lost weight in their feet?  Seems so when I was smaller I had much smaller shoes/feet.

I'm happy for you and understand completely how you feel.  I went shopping the other day and was amazed that I could find things in the regular size section.  Good, but different....not used to being on that side.  I too have sleep apnea and didn't know they could tell by reading your card if you still stop breathing at night.  I'll have to get my card checked to see.  I'll call today and ask them.

I have a friend who has been in a size 18-20 for years and always wore a petite. sorry to hear about the CPAP.
