I would also be concerned about your co-workers response. I don't understand. Think about what??? The only answer is to correct the patient. " Sarah is an excellent therapist. Please don't make such rude comments", would be a more proper reply.
If there is a silver lining to this situation it is that the comment was made in a group setting, you have witnesses and have brought the matter to your supervisor.
When you meet with your supervisor, please use the term harrasment. You are protected against this type of behavior.
