Stiches

Hi all,

I have a question about stiches.  My sterri (sp) strips have finally come off but now I have sharp stiches poking me.  It looks like the stiches are clear like fishing line.  They are driving me nuts.  Does anyone know if they will fall off or will they remove them when I go for my follow up visit on Tuesday.  My discharge papers said not to cover them up after the sterri strips come off but I sometimes need to cover one with a bandaid as it keeps poking my breast when I don't have my bra on.  Any input.

they will fall off.  sometimes where the knots are it will take a little longer but they will eventually all come out.  Hopefully the one that is bothersome  will come out soon or if still bothering you when you see the surgeon  she will fix it for you.

If the stitches don't disolve and fall off the doctor will take care of that at your appt.
I had several that she had to trim off.

I had one that was a pain in the but and I trimed it myself with a pair of clippers no problem.

Doesn't sound very comfortable.......hope they take care of them for you if they don't take care of themselves!
