This woman went through some bad pain and a few trips to ER before they were able to find the problem.  This was Surgeons explaination of what happend.  If you watch her previous v log you can get a better idea of what happend.  Just wanted to share so you can all be aware and educated and be in charge of ER dr's and those who don't know WLS well.  HOpe you enjoy and find this helpful.

I wasnt' picking on RNY, I thought it would help out, instead of waiting out Emergency room antics. Many thinkgs can go wrong with Lap Band too.  Just trying to help.

didnt  think you  were  picking on   rny   just wanted  everyone to make sure that  lap band comes under the   same thing  as the holes   dont get any smaller  and you can lose a lot of weight.
that was for all of us to be aware of.  thank you

Good infor MamaG.  Thank you.  It really makes you realize that living far away from your surgeon you may end up with docs that just don't understand the procedure.

yes, and also being the BoSS of your own body, this is no laughing matter, could have been very serious.

I could write a short book on post-op complications... One of the "stories" was ending up with one of my wounds holding fluid (was not fun, hurt pretty bad too)... and went to the ER  2 days after going home (i was 3 days out from surgery or so)... the nurse (who sore she read my chart) gave me anti-biotic PILLS and told me to make sure I took them with a full 8 oz of water...
