I wish I could go but it's the first night that my kiddos are home.  Is there a schedule for upcoming groups on the EMMC site yet.  I haven't checked lately.  Tracy

I went to the support meeting tonight. I couldn't believe how many people were there. Last time I went was last fall and we would all sit around the table (those who had surgery and those who had not) because there were so few there. It was a good meeting. I'm going to try to go to all of the support meetings between now and my surgery date.

FireIce, your date is just around the corner!  How exciting.  How long between your consult and your surgery date?  I am curious. 

Hi Sabien - I had my consult in February. I was approved with my insurance and had my surgery date within two weeks. I'm excited and nervous. Now I'm just waiting for May 28th.

I've seen you at every support group I have gone to, both pre and post op.
I think it's a very nice thing you do in giving of yourself and your story to the people there.
I wager a guess to say you have inspired a ton of people between here (this forum) and there.

I agree, Patty was at the first support group I ever attended as well.  She was a good inspiration.

and if she doesn't know the answer she will definitely find it for you !!
