Feeling so much better and TMI Question

I was able to catch up on some much needed sleep.  Just took a shower so I feel nice and refreshed just in time to go back to bed for the night lol.  Trying to get in my liquids.  The nutritionitionist said to just try to get in liquids and not try to concentrate in geting in protein too.  Have been doing pretty good with protein water and popsicles.  Well my belly sounds like a rumbling train.  LOTS of bowel sounds.  No gas pain so I am happy with that.  So here is the big question.  Having what I would call the "Caramel Squirts" I know TMI.  Is this normal?  Lots of caramel colored squirty stick to the bowl poops.  Sorry TMI.... but no pain so I am assuming this is my body adjusting and will firm up as time goes on.  Started as soon as I drank protein water.

You guys have been so wonderful.  The support is so nice.  Tracy

LOL, yes too much information.  You know, I don't really remember that happening to me right after surgery but maybe it did and I just wanted to forget about it.  I'm sure things will straighten out soon.  I'm glad you are feeling well.  Sorry I didn't make it to the hospital to  visit you.  I got the message from your freind that you were up for company after I got back home.  I figured day two might have been too early to visit...I remember how I felt on day two...awful!   Hope to see you someday soon.  You will be a different person in just a few months.
Good luck and take care, Karen from Vinalhaven.

Hi Karen,
I told Dr. T I was actually surprised at how well I feel after surgery.  So far so good.  I don't believe I will be going to far from the bathroom though. LOL  It's nice to know everything is getting back to work.  It is probably a good thing I don't have a husband.  He would have been kept up all night listening to my bowel sounds LOL.  I will definantely come to the next support group in Rockport, so hopefully I will see you there.  Tracy

Liquid in=liquid out..........it'll get "firmer" as you start eating more "bulk forming" foods.   Sounds like you are right on track!  (been there done that......not fun...........but it DOES get better!)
Glad to hear you are doing well!

Kelly you are so funny.  I actually think that the sugar alcohol in the popsicles added to the issue.  I didn't realize they were in the popsicles.  I'm feeling pretty good and not hungry lol  although cheerioes do sound amazing good.  LOL
