NEW AMAZING FIND.... (food)
I was at hannaford this afternoon picking up some food (the fam is having IT's for dinner so I was in the bakery) I checked out wrapps to see if they were any better then bread... and next to them there was these square wrapps that said "lower carb, high protein" so i picked them up...
"Joseph's Flax, Oat Bran, Whole Wheat flour, Lavas Bread" you get 8 big rectangles (2 servings eat "slice".... big enough for 3 or 4 servings for someone not as far out from surg) for 2.99. Each 1/2 "slice" serving has 50 calories, 2 g fat, 7 carbs, 3 g fiber, 0 sugar, 5 protein
I made chicken salad wrapp, (chickn w/ "free" italian dressing with 1/2 cheese stick, slic tom. 1/2 leaf lettice, pickle... ) it was very yummy!!

yeah, they are filling... can only eat half or so of a serving... so really... i can make 4 meals out of one slice... I am just happy that I found a "bread" that is nut good for my diet... i don't need a lot but deff miss when i can't have ANY bread... i see "pizza" posibilities with this too (little sauce with low fat cheese and some veggies and meat.,...and grill/bake it...humm...)... going to have to experiment and see...
