 Hi, I don't post much so many of you may not recognize me. I had my surgery back in 2003 with Dr Aslam. Apparently one of his former patients is suing him and Maine General for a "botched" bypass surgery a long time ago. For the record, I was very pleased with my results, I just thought you all might be interested in reading the article.

You are one of the lucky ones. There is a reason he is no longer performing the RNY surgery.  Thankfully, my insurance company denied my in 2003.  I almost had him for a surgeon. I tried again with another insurance and another surgeon. I am SO thankful to God!! 

Oh I went to his place for an information session in 2000 and left there scared to death!
