Well i had an Upper GI done to see if there was a problem there to me throwing up all the time.  well that came back normal. i had a series of blood work done and so far all thats come back alarming is that my potassium is low. Now I'm on supplement for that.
Only problem....I'm still throwing up. i;m 9 weeks out and i don't think i should be having this hard of a time. I feel like i failing and not getting anywhere.  I just want to cry. I don't know what to do.

I know the feeling, been there and done all that.  It really stinks to have to go through all the tests and it seems like they think you are making it all up when nothing show's up.  Mine was a hernia, but I have had more problems since finding that out, pneumonia, pleurisy, and more that I don't really want to go into at this time.  Just some pretty sad news.  Anyway all I can offer you is to keep your chin up and keep after the dr's about it.  Push for more tests if they aren't finding a problem, because there is something wrong, you should NOT be feeling that way.  Something else I also found out was that even if your gall bladder shows up alright in an exray and blood work, it still might not be functioning correctly, so the best test to have is a HIDA scan from what I was told.  Don't give up please keep pushing.  Your in my thoughts and prayers...Angela

Oh Sarah - the first few months can be quite difficult, for me the first 5 months was spent with 24/7 nausea and vomiting and I didn't have any complications. For other like Angela and Emily - they had complications - both however had to really push to get answers. You know your body best, if you think there's something wrong then it's up to you to be your own advocate.

Sorry you have to go through this.

Some people have an easy time of it, others....not so much!  I'd keep calling the doc and asking them for answers if you aren't feeling well.  Hope you can get answers and start feeling better!!

The 2 reasons I was throwing up was my nerves (always been like that) and I was eating too fast even though I thought I was eating slow enough it was no where near slow enough.

That's awful that the upper GI didn't find anything. Are you throwing up after every meal? I know some have nausea for quite a while. If you're vomiting often and are taking the 30 minutes to eat your meal and eating the proper quantity and waiting to drink this shouldn't be happening.

I would contact your surgeon.

well the upper gi came up normal, and i have had and endoscopy test, that came back good, but it showed that i have a lot of eratation in my pouch. I also have gall stones. My surgeon here wants to put me on something to line my stomach to see if that will help,.  Thingns have slowed down over the past few days. I'm trying to avoid new foods, but its hard. the same thing over and over is hard.
