Watch that Vit D

When I went last year to the Pa at the surgeon's office he did me a perscription D 60,000 units 1 a week. Well I had been feeling a little tired again and my new PCP did another Vit D blood test and low again so he added 4,000. more a week. It makes me more tired when my D is low. Here in Maine they claim most people are low BUT us gastric bypass people really have to watch it. I have to go back in 3 months for another test. The surgeon's office does NOT check that enough...the strange thing is it CAN affect how we feel so maybe worth you getting yours checked..

Mine is on the low side, but they didn't do anything about it.  I still am not taking it.  I need to!

I've been wondering about it, I go for my annual bloodwork next week.

Research the problems that come from low Vit D. We really need to have it checked more than our annual check ups.......
