Being accountable!
I've gotta "fess up"! I've been letting the carb monster creep into my life as well as grazing! The scale shows it too! I'm up about 4 pounds in the last 3 days! (I know, I know, it's not that much!!!) BUT.......I think it's time to get back on track!!! I ALSO haven't been doing much for exercise, except for skating last weekend!
SO.........BACK on track today!!!!! NO MORE GRAZING!!!! I'm cutting the carbs out (even that yummy oatmeal cake that DH made yesterday!) AND.....I've already done a 5.3 mile walk/jog and some arm weight lifting! Gonna go find some skating this afternoon!!!! WOOHOO!!!
Thanks for letting me vent/share and helping me get back on track!!!!!!
Enjoy your day!!!!!!
Hugs!

Hey Ruth..
Getting back on track is definately a must do. It may only be a 4 pound gain but we know how 4 turns to 10 then to 20 and so on and so forth. Ask yourself what is eating at you? Perhaps there is something bothering you that you are not aware of or don't think is a big deal. Just check in with yourself. Hope you have fun skating. Can't wait to get back to doing stuff like that. I love to skate...ice or roller.

Oh yeah, 4 pounds may not seem like much, but it IS a slippery slope if I continue to do what I've been doing! Cutting out the carbs, junk, and grazing WILL make a huge difference for me! I think I've just gotten lazy the past couple of weeks because I know I need to be maintaining! It's weird how once all the weight stops coming off and the scale is holding pretty steady how the motivation to keep working out and watching EVERYTHING I eat just kinda falls to the wayside! This is SUCH a learning process! I AM determined to get this all back under control though!
Thanks for your input!
Off to find some skating!

Hey Ruth. I am also a grazer. I've been trying hard to stop. Things like keeping my hands busy with sewing and when I really, really want to eat I exercise. Problem is the it doesn't work all that great. Once I'm done with the activity I'm back grazing. I wish you luck Ruth and I'd love to hear about your progress!

There are days when I graze but grazing has not really been a routine for me. My issue has always been what I eat. And amounts. I was never an aware eater. I always watched t.v. while eating or read a bood while eating. Another problem of mine is emotional eating. I ate to celebrate, I ate to feel better when sad, when I was angry, any emotion I felt I was eating. What a vicious cycle that it. Hate myself for being fat and then add to the destruction by eating. And then I also over-ate just because stuff just tasted so damn good. I cannot have a lot of stuff in my house because i know myself too well. Good luck to ya. You'll get back on track.
