I;m finding that i am still puking. is this normal???? I'm tired of being sick all the time. I'm about 8 weeks out. still having a hard time eating and with milk. i just wish that i could go a day with out feeling ill or somehting. is this normal? does anyone else go through this?

Sorry you are not feeling well. Fortunately I did not have those issues. I know some of the others had issues with nausea for a while post op.

Have you called your doctor? I didn't feel like that although I know plenty of people here have had that experience. The milk could be a newly developed lactose intolerance. That happens a lot! I'd call your doctor, just to be checked out!

It is for some like me - I was that way for 5 months, for others - like MaineGal it was a symptom of an obstruction - you should check with both your doc and your nutritionist.

Well i can eat som, but most of the time i throw it up shortly after. I wait almost an hour before drinking and after i take a drink i throw up.. it sucks.. there was a time where things felt like lead in my stomach. When i last saw Dr Huang he told me this was normal because my surgery was still fresh. but now i'm 8 weeks out

I'd call the doc again! Better safe than sorry. Maybe he could run a few tests?? If you are vomiting up a lot of food then you aren't getting proper nutrition. I'd call again!

you should call your surgeon immediately. you could have an obstruction.
