Stall
I have hit a stall and can't seem to break it. Well it does not help that I have let up on the exercise. I can't wait for winter to be over. I keep getting to one pound shy of 100lb loss. I want that century card!!!!!
My goal is to fun a 5K this spring/summer. And then maybe a 10K. My hubby told me last night that he wants to run with me. He certainly could use the exercise and weight loss that would come with that. And I would love a running partner. My problem is getting started. I keep saying I am going to then I always find something else to do. I am going to start this week on the treadmill at the gym. I have a couple of beginner running programs I printed off. No more excuses I am going to do it!! The weight loss should kick back in if I do.
I think I need to go tanning. I am feeling down and think I need some more sunlight (or fake). A good tan always makes me feel better. The busier I keep myself the less grazing I will do. I have had some bad days with that. That ole hunger definetly came back!!!

I've been finding excuses to not exercise myself! It's a vicious circle, that's for sure!
Do you still log/journal all your food? I've found that that's the only way I can keep myself on track! I STILL log every bite, nibble, etc! My list looks REALLY long some days, but it does make me think twice before I start grazing on "bad" stuff.
Start small with the exercise.......I've found that getting there is half the battle....once I'm there, I don't mind the gym so much! Just gotta go! Easier said than done!
Good luck! Let me know when you are planning that 5k........I'll meet you there! That's my goal for spring too! (I've got A LOT of work to do to get there though!!!)

Stalls are such a pita - even though dropping weight on the scale is only one form of measuring success, it's the one we focus on most.
When I find myself stalling, I really take a hard look at what I'm eating - usually I've snuck more in there than I'm willing to admit....out loud, anyway -
You'll get there soon - for some reason - probably because we want it so bad - the 100lb loss or moving into onderland seems to be a place we get stuck.

Thanks for the comments. I have to admit I stopped journalling a long time ago. But I know I should do it. I will dig it out and start tom am. Hubby is going to go to the gym with me. He is signing up. I have free membership through my work. So I really have no excuses. I miss going. I felt better when I went regularly.
Ruth, I even subscribed to Runners World magazine and on their web site they have a way to look up races by state. I printed it off. I just need to decided when I would be ready for that. I have NEVER been a runner. I was never athletic as a kid. It will be such a huge accomplishment. I would love to do the Trek across Me but you have to raise $500 just to participate. That is alot and I am not sure I could do that. Maybe the Tour De Cure in Kennebunk. My son is a diabetic and the donation requirement is much less. I always go read the posts on the exercise forum and am so awed by many of the posters there. I want to be like them!!!!!

I've never been a runner either! It's amazing what we can do without all that extra weight hanging off of us! I'm probably gonna start off with some type of run that is "cheap". I don't have many people I can ask for donations. I did the American Heart Walk last fall and jogged about half of it (5miles). Just gotta get training and WE CAN DO IT!!!!! WOOHOO!!!
