info on Children's vitamins
Interesting information thanks for posting it. At the price of those Bariatric vits I think I will stick with my adult multis, calcium, vit d and change them when my blood work comes back abnormal. There's no way in h e double l I can afford the prices of ordering specialty vits online, but that's just me. My blood work has been coming back within the normal range thus far so my vits must be doing alright.
I totally agree, I also refuse to pay those prices, PLUS shipping. Plus RNYers need to take 2 a day. But boy it is very scarey to think of the things that would happen if you don't get what your body requires after wls. Melting Mama shares alot of those dangers. But man, I cringe daily when I take my Centrum, ewwwww it taste so bad. I see you get yours at Rite aid? are they chewable? I might be checking that one out next.
I am running out of centrum so I just happened to be at Rite Aide the other day and saw the store brand for One a day....container had about 365 tabs in it for like 10.00. They are really small and round in shape not oblong like centrum is. I haven't had any trouble swallowing my vits...sometimes the calcium because it's not coated with anything. I figure I take 2 a day now if I need to take 3 or more it would be alright to do that. Those bariatric vits you have to take 6 a day right at the start. I'm thinking how is that better than store vits.
I hear the bariatric's ones have everything for wls patients, but it isn't so important for Band patients cause we don't malabsorb them. I can't swallow pills, once you get a better restriction you might not be able to, I can if I wait till after noontime and they are fairly small. did rite aid have store brand chewables?
