arg.... the gym...

I usually LOVE going to the gym, the kids enjoy the day care and i get some much needed ME time... today when I went though there were a LOT of the too small shorts bra for a shirt tini little girls... I felt totally uncomfortable and out of place. AND I forgot my ear buds to boot so I worked out with no music... arg!!! (BUT I AM PROUD OF MYSELF FOR WORKING OUT AND NOT MAKing EXCUSES!!!)

Good for you for just doing it and not making excuses! I know I would go absolutely nuts without my headphones to watch the TVs. Luckily at my gym I don't see many of the barely covered girls, but every once in awhile there's a few. Just keep on and you will see those pounds melt right off you.

That was my big thing about joining a gym, the barbie dolls and muscle guys so I joined the health club & spa on Lisbon St in Lewiston and I go after the kids get on the bus and I usually see all the memeres & peperes so there is no uncomfortable feelings.

I go to the YMCA's arthritic swim program, so there are lots of people with canes and walkers, just like me. Yes, I am the biggest in the pool, but no one makes me feel bad.

I go to Fitness World in Lewiston... I have a lifetime membership there (includes daycare, tanning and classes, that someday i may take).... i like to go durring the day when there are less people but can't always make it then... i know a bunch of people that go there and enjoy it, just had a off day
