This day 2 of a 4 day weekend for me - yay!!!!

Yesterday - I got my eyes checked and ordered contact lenses - been without them for a year - with wls and buying the house just didn't have time to deal with it before. Cooking for my frozen grab and heat meals - chicken strada, cola chicken, and cranberry beef roast - and I made that pumpkin torte recipe - yummy - except I took beano before eating, beano does NOT work for me........also signed up with stumbleupon.com.....spent way too much time - but what fun!

Today - I'm chilling, snuggling with my fur princess on the sofa.............getting ready to order a replacement charging cord for my power drill - the cord cost 6.73 - the shipping 10.50 - sheese.

The rest of my productive time this weekend will be spent with preparation and painting....nothing new here...

Superbowl is not in my vocabulary - football is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

DH has decided that he wants to go to Portland. He wants to shop at the Indian and Oriental food markets. I'll bring my needlework to do on the ride down.

Perhaps we can detour to some clothing shops, Joann's Fabrics and Caravan Beads- that's my idea of shopping!

Candace I hear you. I need a special hallogen light bulb for a lamp. $2.99 for the bulb, $5.98 for shipping. I'm going to check in Portland for that too.

Superbowl- I probably won't stay up for the whole thing. I return to work on Monday after my Family Medical leave. Oh,  5:30AM will come early- Monday morning-- yawn!

Well, I will spend all day Saturday cleaning so that a housefull of people can come over Sunday afternoon and mess it up.... My DH planned a Superbowl party, so staying away from the wings and beer is not going to be easy!

I am on my own Saturday (my 3 guys are going to the Scout Klondike derby and DD has a birthday party to go to).  So..........Guess I am going shopping!  I've wanted to go check out Whole Foods for a LONG time, so maybe Saturday's the day??  Maybe go check out sales at AE, Aeropostale, and Old Navy too......just for laughs!

Sunday.........Church, then probably to Waterville to bring the DD pitching, the back home to watch Superbowl commercials............I don't care much for the game.......BUT.........I DO love the commercials!!!!!!

Have a great weekend everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no plans until Super Bowl Sunday.  I keep looking at each event that comes up as the last time I will be able to enjoy....whatever.  Sunday will be that last time (hopefully) that I can enjoy the Super Bowl Sunday smorgasbord that Ray and I usually set up.  Feb, 14th will be the last time Ray will be able to give me a box of chocolates for Valentines day.  I just keep hoping that by the same time next year, I will already be on the way to a whole new healthy way of celebrating.

Go Cardinals! (Although I think the Steelers will win)

You shouldn't look at it like the last time you enjoy things,  don't you think walking around, with no pain, still having treats, just healtier ones is exciting?  I continue to enjoy myself, and refuse to stop.  so what If I have a wing and a beer.  I just need to accept me loosing slower and move on. But, again, with my band I can still have some of that stuff without getting sick, just not as much of it.  Your life will be funner then you've experienced in years.  it's NOT the end of fun times.

Ahhh but it doesn't have to be the last time you get chocolates.  Try sugarfree chocolates.  I tollerate some of the sugar free chocolates better than others though.  I did try a miniature hersheys (not sugar free) and it tasted like chalk.

Ya know I'm 46 years old and I've never gotten chocolates for Valentine's Day.  Hmmm.  Guess they didn't want to make a large lady larger.
