actually no,  like I said forget it... I"m not mad at anyone, or confused.  Never mind...I just can't seem to explain the point I was trying to make.  The funny this is this post is more frustrating then the reason why I was frustrated before, lol

Are you talking about the fad diet advice of the day - supposedly educated people advising us with whatever the trend is? One day low fat, one day low sugar, one day low carb? Trying to have a one size fits all approach to weightloss - even though our bodies work different? Don't get me started sister.....

I think I understand that the "they" you refer to, are the reporters who don't really understand the studies that they are reporting on and misquote or take out of context the information and then pass it on in a 30 second segment  like it is the latest discovery that is going to make all our lives better.

I agree with you, that they do more harm than good.  They confuse and befuddle the public.

exactly, you got it !!!  they wonder why American's are so overweight.  they start a different diet every Monday.
