I loved roller skating when I was a kid...we skated at a Legion hall in Westbrook, had to make really quick turns and go around lolly columns LOL remember that like it was yesterday, had my own skates, orange and black pom poms that matched my BF's; GEtting to the South Portland roller rink was a 2x month treat...wow...memories!!!!!! I would love it but wouldn't go all the way to Augusta-2 hours for me. Keep up the link, tho and we shall see what happens to the idea, maybe in several locations on the same day, WLS around the "skate" live pod casts...

Wow they did that at the Westbrook Legion? I grew up skating at Happy Wheels on Warren Ave. I had Blue and Yellow rollerskates!! But no pom-poms...

Sorry all I am way to much of a clutz to roller skate. I like my feet on solid ground. I would try to go just to visit though. Let me know what you all decide.

I am sure I am going to be a clutz too, but now is the time to try! But you can be one of the ones watching, pointing and laughing! LOL Maybe we can do a bowling day after that!!
