Thank you Cheryl. I'm happy to see that you're just as sweet as you always were.
I didn't mean I don't feel safe with OH members. As you may remember no one knows of my surgery except my boyfriend, medical personel, and people here. I want to keep it that way. I feel it's safer to not post as often as I have in the past.

Hello everyone,
I have only been lurking for a few days. My name is Beverly and I am in a waiting pattern for medicare coverage to kick in on May 1st. I have been to a free seminar and a support group in Bangor, to get some information. I am hoping that I will eventually be approved for weight loss surgery so that I can lose enough weight to have both of my hips replaced.
I want my life back. Most of my life now, seems to revolve around this lift chair that I am in. I miss being independent. I miss driving, working, camping, and ummm, hmmm (I want my sex life back and so does Ray!!!)
I think that was too much information, huh?
I found this website a few months back and joined, then promptly forgot about it. Now that I have a date that I will start having some kind of health care coverage, I am excited to learn as much as possible and be as prepared as possible to tackle any obstacles that may come my way. I remembered all the resources and great people here on OH and started lurking to get my bearings. I will appreciate any and all advice that any of you can give me. Please add me to your friend list if you want to. I look forward to getting to know my fellow Main-ahs.
