Rose, I just went on the site that Kathy gave you and I looked at the diet.  I'm going to try it this week.  I need to go get some little tv dinners tho, I think it looked very confusing too,  I will p/u some dinners on Monday and start it on monday,  hope i can loose 12 lbs. too. hehe (RIGHT)  we'll see how long I can hang in there, I hate cottage cheese tho, I wonder if I could have a reduced cheese stick instead??

I like the dinners and they do fill you up and I would try the low fat cheese sticks I checked them out today they are only 50 cal for one not bad I didn't think. and drinking Lot of green tea Chrystal light

I am not going to worry as long as I lose I am going to keep going the way Am

Good morning Rose,  I think that is what I'm going to do,  although leave out the tea and drinking stuff I just drink water.  Not a fan of crystal lite and tea drinks.  I might still have my coffe in the morning tho, the most exciting part of my day. lol

I don't know anything about your pre-op diet or surgeon but I DID want to wish you all the best!  Good luck and keep us posted!

I had Dr Cobean and the pre-op diet was as you are doing....
2-3 protein shakes and 1 meal.

Also fresh veggies and fruits, anything SF.
I did also have lowfat cheese sticks,  no sugar added applesauce, SF pudding and jello, also no sugar added fudge pops are awesome, especially after surgery!!!

I lost 16lbs on the 2week diet!!! It isnt too bad to follow.
From what I can see your doing fine, it is a big adjustment but it goes by fast.

Rose, I just started mine today.  not too bad, I even made a spread sheet to check off and made a yummy protein shake w/pb2 for afternoon lunch.  I can't wait to see if this makes me drop some weight this week.

I like it and I don't think it is bad at all I have lost 10 pounds since last Wed. but I am a little bumb today not good I ate a MCdonalds Ice-cream and a buscit from KFC and I know that is a no no but it would be a week before aunt flo would have visited and still have the pms even though the devil is gone for 20 years some to say the least I am not a happy camper today if I can't  do this for 2 weeks how am I going to do it for life.

well, you've come to the right place,  we ALL screw up.  we all have our good days and bad days, and we come here and whine and feel sorry for ourselves and get the support and understanding we need and we jump right back on the horse.  you will be fine, just remember, if you screw up, dont think your day is over, and screw up more.  get over it and move on.  that damn scale don't lie.

pb2 is peanut butter Powder which has the moisture/fat taken out of it.  it is great in protein shakes, mixed with a little water and spread on cracker.  there are ton's of recipes out there.  it is very low in calories.  I have pb2chocolate and reg. pb2.  maybe at your next support group someone can bring you a sample.  i even dip banana slices in it. 

anyway, your doing great.  and 10 lbs. is AWESOME....
