monthly after 3 years

Ok here is one of those womanly questions that I'm puzzled about.  3 years ago I had thermachoice, this is where they burn the lining of the uterus so the problem monthlys go away as well as the anemia.  Well yesterday guess what showed up, yup the dreaded monthly, I haven't had one in 3 years and now 3 months after my RNY it decides to show up.  My questions I guess is who do I call?  Dr. L or the OB/GYN that did the thermachoice?  My guess would be the OB but just wanted any other input that you may have.  I'm far from impressed right now I thought I was through with this stuff and here it is back and just as bad as before.

Bummer- that's one thing I haven't had to deal with- knock on wood. Still menopausal.

I would phone the OB first.

I'd call the OB/GYN but make sure they know your hormones are a mess because of the surgery!  Good luck!   (I am just the opposite...after being regular for years and years, I've had nothing for over 3 months......maybe I should be happy???)

i'd call the ob that did your surgery. i love not having my monthly aunt flo visit. i'm on depo and love it. it's a hormonal treatment for me as i had my tubes tied years ago. my pms was horrible so they started me on depo and it stopped everything. good luck.

Lisa, the depo stopped your pms?  I heard people have weight issues with the depo, but obviously not in your case.  I definately NEED something pms wise.  OMgosh  I'm a monster for a little over a week before my "monthly"

totally stopped pms. not to be too graphic but when i ovulated i would have the runs for the day. cramping and was miserable. the day i started you'd swear i had the flu. my nose would run and everything. i still get carb cravings but otherwise nothing. no mood swings, cramping, flu symptoms. so it's a godsend to me. it's basically a low hormone treatment. now i'm doubley protected from pregnancy too.

i was on depo for years untill the month befor surg... my OB does not want me on it now becuase it can make you gain weight.. so i am now on the pill ortho cept and i could never take the pill befor .. but it working good now.. but i sure miss the depo ... i wish you my best..

Ugh - I thought I was done.....11 months - no visitor....them bam - last week I had a surprise.

OMG, now that is company no one wants, i'm soooo happy i'm over that.  When dr. told me I had to have my uterus removed due to Fibroids she asked me if I wanted them lasered or wanted a hystorectomy.  I said "HELLO"??? what you think?
