have you ever heard of Sclerotherapy?

I just read this on a RNY woman's profile.  I can't even imagine having this to form scar tissue.  isn't that what people "DON"T" want??  this is what she writes.

if my stoma had enlarged and if so they would do a sclerotherapy where they inject a solution into the stoma which causes it to produce scar tissue which makes your opening smaller.

I think that's probably if your stoma is enlarged and you need more restriction/haven't lost what you need to.  I don't think it's anything "routine", by any means.  It might be easier to do this than get a complete revision?  What do I know though?  haha

you know what?  I just looked up your "S" and I'd seen that before, and I can understand having that done.  it is controlled and done purposely.  the other one you "GROW" scar tissue, what if too much grows, or it causes blockage??  I guess I need to learn more about that one.  I dont want any scar tissue in my organs.

I'm hoping I can just keep my pouchy the way it is!  Working pretty good so far!  Hope I never have to go through that!  YIKES!
