I thought it would be wonderful to be home in my own bed. It was, but I hardly slept. It hurt every time a rolled over. Then I scared myself this morning. I got a sharp pain at one of the incision sites. It was a one time thing. Gone now. Yes- I'm behaving myself- not doing much of anything. Resting, drinking, taking my pain meds and antibiotic, doing needlework, colored my hair a lighter blond shade.  In addition to the blockage I had/have a UTI so that's being treated.

I think I'll venture out with DH when he delivers the crock pot of chili to DD's house for the gang that's gathering to help insulate her unfinished 2nd story. I'll get to see them and grandson again.

Perhaps go to HomeDepot and return all the defective items I bought on Monday night. Two 3-way light bulbs with only 1 or 2 ways that work, a high intensity light bulb that the package was opened and taped when I bought it and didn't work.  Can I get them to reimburse me mileage??? What a pain.

Good for you, moving is a good thing, and it sounds like you are being careful, be cautios feeling good can lead you to over do, also, just do half as much as you think you can and wuit when you are still feeling stron, not when youa re worn out.
So glad you are home and hopefully will mend fast.
I HATE when stuff doesn't work out of the box...errrr
have a great day

It was magic when she realized who she had become...
