Megan's visit

Megan just left after a wonderful little visit.  What a sweet, sweet young woman.  I hope I didn't scare her too much.  I gave her all the in's and out's and Nut's and bolt's of what I have experience and learned.  Mostly I must Add from the Band Forum here on OH.  She is doing wonderfully and will continue to do well, I can tell just from her attitude and intelligence.  She seems to have as much of a restriction as I do, after 8 months.  It still amazes me how this works.  HOw one person can have full restriction after 2 cc's and the next needs 8cc's.  Dr. explainned it, depending on how thick your stomach is, which in turn will add or reduce restriction, and affect the amount of Saline in your band.  I really talked her ear off, I'm sorry Megan.  I wish you the very best, and have fun back at school.

I'm happy you had a nice visit. I am sure she is a nice as her mom. I've meet her mom way back at the support meetings in Portland... Did she say what size her band is??? Does she have a 4cc band or a 10cc band that could be the difference in why she has restriction with 2cc as I have a 4 cc band and have only 1 3/4cc in mine.......

Linda, she has Dr. L also, so she has a 10 cc with no saline at all yet, but just the band itself is giving her restriction.  she is still a few weeks out also, so she might have some swelling still.  But its working for her, so whooo hooo.

WOW that is good for her :) I had restriction for the longest time after.... I found the weight in the beginning was the easiest to loose and now its not so easy...
