Hi everyone,
Been gone awhile but I am reading your posts, what a wild holiday season for everyone but I have to say you all weathered some huge challenges so well, without food, how does that feel.
I have been so busy, DD home twice during the holidays with the GS adn that was fun, 2 house showings(no offers yet) and a business trip to Baltimore with DH, oh and the stomach flu just to make things exciting.  BAck on schedules at work yesterday with a packed client day.
I joined Curves just cause I need to do something, DIL gave me a free month so am going to do that until FEb 12th and then see if I can afford it.  I keep thinking about that vs a Wii and still can't justify the huge upfront cost of Wii fit, so on I go with tapes and free curves.  WE'll see how that works.
Getting measured at Curves was daunting, after 94# weight loss still have 35% body fat, and measurements that don't seem to be that of normal woman-where is that 36 24 36 ?? So I was discouraged for really the first time since surgery(or anytime I look at the hanging skin LOL)and came home and wanted to eat my way happy.  First again, since surgery, half way through my second SF fudgical I said whoa-WTH am I doing and stopped, so know I can stop a feeding frenzy before I do too much damage and get sick. Good to know.
Ok, off to Curves it is fricking freezing out and the wind wants to tear sown my house....ARRRGGGHHH I want to go south!!
love to all.

Hi Kate!

Glad to hear from you!  Good for you for going to Curves!  I love it! I go 4 times a week. It helps that I work there on Saturdays and membership is free for me!  Maybe you can get a part time job there!  And then you won't have to worry about the cost! But you are so worth it!! Maybe there is something that you can give up, that you spend?  You are SOOOOOOO worth it!!  Remember that!

Keep warm and Keep Active!!

Hi back at ya!!!!

This process does have it's ups and downs - and why do we let measurements, sizes or scales get us down - when overall we feel so much better? I know I can make myself crazy over this sometimes.

Good for you going to Curves. Heck if you lived closer you could come use my wii!!!!
