Well I had ultrasound and CT scan today...
I went for my ultrasound and then back again to my local hospital for my CT scan. I had to drink that nasty stuff for the CT scan that they mixed with crystal light, yuck! I also had to have the die through IV, and that took two pokes. Anyway I asked the ultrasound techinician how my gall bladder looked and she said it looked ok to her, but the Dr. would know more. So as I thought, I really dont think its my gall bladder. I have been thinking all along that its an ulcer, it has all the symptoms of one. I am not sure if that will show in the CT scan or not. I know they usually do an endoscopy I believe its called to determine that, but maybe the CT scan will show. I really dont want to have any more tests, but will do it to get to the bottom of this. I am sick of being SICK. I have a low grade fever off and on, stomach with any food or liquid, nausea at times, vomitted a couple times, dizziness, headache and tired of all this. I though the point of surgery was to feel better, and there are ways I feel better, but I have been through a lot of garbage to get here. I guess the good thing is I am still losing weight, I am now at 93 lbs lost since I started this process. So now I am supposed to wait til next Wednesday drive to Bangor, which is over an hour away, and find out results, which will probably nothing and have to go further tests. I did have blood work the other day at the hospital and my liver and etc looked fine. Anyway, take care all and have a good weekend!! Hugs...Angela
