ONE WEEK....
I made it through my first week... AHHH!! Even went to a wls support meeting (I think this should be called competitive fitness?? lol) and did well. I introduced myself to the (nurse?? sad that i don't know her title...) and am getting a calender sent to me (got my name on the mailing list for them) and I am planning to go regularly. (and left my water bottle 1/2 full of lemon juice on the table.. damn...)
Tomorrow morning I am buying a digital bathroom scale, the one i have is not digital and is SOOOO hard to read (plus I need to see exactly how much i am loosing so that it motivates me...). I am going to weigh myself every Friday and do my measures at the same time.
I have been doing great with exercising too. did 1/2 hour this past week, moving to 45 min. And continue with 3 meals 2 snacks a day (and blog journal them daily)
Good Luck to MEEEE!!!

Congrats on your 1st week back on track and your 3.5 lb weight loss I saw on another thread. That is wonderful.
I was at the support group last night too with my daughter who just had lap band surgery last week with Dr Loggins. I saw you, but at the time wasn't sure if it was you, so i didn't speak.
I think support groups are very important. If you're willing to travel, my surgeons support groups are the 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Maine Medical Bariatric Center on Andover Road in Portland. I've been to my daughters support groups and they're very nice, but my support groups are done differently. We all talk openly with ourselves. Questions and answers. My nut Barbara runs them, but she doesn't talk much unless no one else is talking. Anyone is welcome to attend them. They're from 5:30-6:30. Kathi from here also goes. She could tell you about them too.
If you call Dr. Loggins office, they may have seen your water bottle and taken it to their office. Doesn't hurt to call and ask if they have it.
Keep up the great work.

I totally agree, Dr. L's support group are not very "supportive" I'm not encouraged to go, first of all, they hardly ever talk about Lap Band, its all RNY. but so is all their trainning. OH< is a better support then that. I wish they would let us talk amoungst ourselves more. I know they read here and I'm ok with that because it needs to be known. I would love for the band to be more supported.
Yeah... the support group went, well... different then I had thought it would be. Different then they used to be, but I think that I am going to continue to go because any support is good right? Another friend of mine near Bangor has support groups that she LOVES... I wish that I could find that for me... God I need SOMETHING to help me stay on track!! (accountability not competitivity... I want to be the best ME I can be and not worry that someone is trying to beat my weight loss or hopping i fail...)
I did get my water bottle back. Corine (sp?) called me this morning to let me know that she had it.
If anyone see me out and about or at a group feel free to say HELLO... I don't bite...(hard)
