I've been within 3 or 4 pounds of 155 since August. Dr. Loggins assures me I have 10 pounds of skin so don't beat yourself up. You might be where you're going to be. Just keep up the healthy habbits and appreciate what you have. You certainly don't want to be where you began! You are healthier and more active now and in a great size. I'm sure your family is really enjoying the new you. Just remember you're healthier and have more energy and have a lot less fat to carry around!!!

Yes, Dr. L told me the same thing. Thinking I might be where I want to be if I have PS, but I just can't afford that. Maybe I'll win the lottery!

Summer, I have a question.  How much weight did you have to loose and how much did your mom?  how far out is she and you.  Do you think she will also plateau when she is as far out as you?  I know how you feel, that brain of ours and hormones.  damn,  for the first time in my life, I'm smaller then my sister.  she never had a weight problem and has gainned about 20 lbs. and i've lost so i'm smaller, (a little)  I'm happy, but yet feel bad for her and totally understand what she is going thru.  Funny how your brain can do 2 things a once.  my mom has always told me how pretty my sister was, and how she keeps her weight down. (that's my mom)  anyway, now she is doing it to her.  My sister never understood how I felt and now she is like, OMG, "You had to deal with this all your life".  and she says, "I'm so sorry".  it is such a brain game, everything is.  that is why we were Fat in the first place, our brain.  NOw, OUr brain is keeping us from doing other things, saggy skin (No bathing suits), saggy arms (No sleevless shirts), we still feel fat (buy larger clothes),  it feels like a loosing battle, but we must not give up and keep at it.  Not just our weight but our brain.  LOve your DH and DS and your life.  BE HAPPY....  I feel that my good friends and family dont' even look at my saggin arms, and I"m free as a bird, I'm crazy, live in my bathing suit all summer long, even mow the lawn in it.  I jump off the dock and yell, I horse around, go on bumper rides, dance on the boat to good tunes.  ENJOY !!  your life is so special, don't sit back and be sad. and worry about being a size 6 enjoy being a size 12 or 14, be proud.  (i'm talking too much, and talking not to just you Summer, but to all of us)

RNY on 11/21/07 with
yes  i am   allowed  23 points at  ww  and i can  get there  with no problems  and  eat the protein i need.   But i still have  a protein shake    almost every day.   I  drink  my  milk  and always protein first.

the new diet  focuses on  satisfying food first which is our protein and   that is the way it should be.

I fine no drinking with  meals  just a thing i do.   I  may have water on table but only take a sip if  something not going down right but i dont   usually have to have any.  I  have not been a carb eater since  surgery  and   still am not    so dont have  problems with bread and crackers
Bread  hurts if i eat the mushy stuff have to stay with hard rye or something like that.

have a great day  you  are doing great!!!
