Holding myself accountable
I gained 4.2 pounds over the holidays!!! Way too many sweets and carbs. I'm back to my RNY eating...60-80 proteins and fluids. I'm also back to working out. I did the track at the Y the other day and ran 2 whole laps. That's a quarter mile. My goal is to do 1 mile. I also did resistance training. They have CURVES like equipment there. Total was an hour working out. I'm going again today. I want to lose 19.2 more pounds and would like to be at goal by my birthday in June. I've been the same (near) since August. Time to kick it up a notch. I'd like my tummy tuck in February 2010 and need to do some toning before then.
that is great Lisa, I've kicked it up too, I'm working out, more then i've ever done, lets see with doing that and Atkins something happends, i'm at the same calories but nothing was happending before, so maybe these 2 changes will work. I'm also going in for a fill tomorrow. am a little affraid for the scale with xmas gain, plus its at 2:30, i usually go in morning. yikes. well, my DH and I have been going back and forth about my fill. he don't think I need anymore, and I am on the line about it. so this one will be it, for me for now, unless it ends up to be too tight. I feel and have read the band works better when its not too tight, cause people can't eat meats and end up eating bad stuff, chips, cho**** cream. so, my DH is concerned because the last 2 times we went out to eat I got stuck. I'm going out with the girls today and i'm skipping the food and having a drink. (shhhh)
did you see my post a few days ago? it was about a special even challenge. I said I would work on getting below 200 for Jan. 30th. you should join us for a small challenge (a few weeks)

excellent cheryl. i love that you never give up. only you know your body. don't worry about dh. once he see's how healthy you're getting he'll get on board. careful with those extra calories from the toddies. i'm sure that has hindered my loss. i've been going out more lately and having a couple.
i'll look back at the challenge post. i've seen the 1000 minute challenge. is that for the month of january? if so i'm at about 100 minutes. i did an hour at the Y on friday and cleaned out the garage for a good 40 minutes in the cold yesterday. i'm going to the Y tonight too. i'll keep track.

hey, yea, I know about the toddies OH well, I include them with my calories, and try to eat low cal foods when I have one. I'm not stopping my life, I will deal with the slow loss. sorry?? cool on the 1000 mins. and yes for the month of Jan. i'm up to 170 mins. yooo hooo.... I'll get there.. have a great week.
