Morning Cheryl,

I got your text messages on my phone this morning.
Megans doing good. She has been having some rough mornings.
She wakes up and needs to throw up. I told her that I think its the band being to tight with the swelling & that I've heard here at OH that the band always feels tighter in the mornings.
I told her she should wait a while to drink/eat when she gets up in the morning. To be up walking around for a while. I hope this helps her.
Thank you for the concern. I think she's going to be okay. She acts like her old self again, up doing stuff, just a little sore.
I'll let her know you were asking about her and ask her to come on.

good, I was concerned, I know that throwing up this early isn't good, she don't want the band to slip.  Just make sure she can get her liquids down and that means she is all good.  I am very tight in the morning, but I have 5 cc's in my band.  I usually have coffee and the warmness of it takes care of it.  so if she can have warm water, or warm cocoa.  I'm usually good by 10am. some people, like my roomate Jill, she was on here for a while, was more restricted then I was, at first, i don't think I had much swelling, cause I felt wide open.  every one is much different depending on what size of stomach they have too, some are thicker then others.  I'm glad she is moving around and doing well,  I remember feeling like I had done 1000 sit ups, my tummy was so sore.  I've been on the bad site for a long time and it is amazing the different sizes of fills people have.  some are too tight at 4.5 cc's and some have 9cc's in their band.  so tell her not to compare when it comes to how others react to their fill.  Dr. Loggins is VERY SLOW at filling, only 1 or less per visit.  others get up to 5 cc's at their visits.  I know you know all this.  I just dont' want her to get discouraged as I did.  Good luck to her,

Cheryl

Hello Cheryl,

When I wake up in the morning, it's always right around 8, when I get nauseous and then throw up. I called Dr. Loggins about it on saturday and explain it to him. He said I could go to the ER or if I felt okay to wait it out and see if the nausea leaves to call on Monday and let him know. I feel like my old self again, except that the staple areas are kind've sore. So I don't know whats going on. I think that it might have something to do with the Lovenox, because it is right after I take it that I throw up. But I don't know. I'll up date you.

Thank-you for your concern,
Megan
