For the first time in my life, it is NOT to lose weight for the #1 reason.  This year, it is to get rid of my credit card debt!!   So, what is yours?

PS: Snagged this idea from Mamag130, thanks Mama!!

Mine's definitely not to lose weight too...lol.

I don't have credit card debt but I think an important one is making ME important.  I really need to focus on me and figure some things out for myself and see where to go from there.

well, now let me think.  first of all, loosing weight isn't a resolution it is a fact.  IT WILL HAPPEN.  so I think this year will mostly be concentrated on getting my house in order, spring cleaning, planning DD's wedding and get her to try and save some money to help, haha.  oh, and trying to organize a neighborhood settlement/lawsuit that has been going on for 5 years, finalized, set up a meeting so we can all talk things out and settle it, cause Lawyers "SUCK".... they will keep it going forever just for money.  it is so crazy, and so silly.  all us people who use a right of way, are being attacted by one neighbor who dont' want us to use the right of way, dont' want us swimming or gathering there.  like we are going to give up our rights, why do they think we bought a place on the lake for??  they want us to sign off to using it???? idiot !!  oh, and get this, they are from out of state and have spent the night here twice in 3 years.  grrrrrr !!! anyway, those are my goals maybe not resolutions but something I want to accheive.  Peace...........

I could use a little more exercise motivation too, ok, will try to work on that.

Thanks Kathy

Kewl idea........I hadn't really thought about it as losing weight WASN'T my resolution this year for the FIRST time in my life!!!!  WOW!!!!!!!

Maybe it will be to MAINTAIN and quit snacking?  Or MAYBE I'll resolve myself to quit being to "*****y" with the DH and kids (if I can control that........I guess it depends what the hormones decide to do!)

Happy and peaceful 2009!!!!!

Off to the Chinese Buffet with the family!

Mine has always  either been to lose weight or quit smoking.  But i quit smoking   7 years ago and  the  weight  is still  a resolution  that i need to live.

I guess my resolution would be  to  become more organized and get rid of  some of this clutter.

hey LIsa, I got a cheap little pedimeter (sp) with my new walking DVD and was wondering how many steps you normally take in one day. and how many are in one mile (apprx), thanks, not sure this thing will work right, since its a cheapie, don't walk much other then my dvd and wii, too damn cold outside.

everyone's stride is different but there is an average of 2000 steps in a mile.  (Thank Google!)

Hi Lisa, along with the weights I suggest getting a balance ball. It is great for the core!  Either free weights or a resistance band is awesome for toning.
