New Year !!!!

I have  really  been  blessed this   year.   
Not sure if it can get any better. 
I cant believe i am in a medium sweat pant.   wow  last year i couldnt get a leG in it.  I am thankful for that.

I am thankful for a healthier life and maybe  some extra years to watch my grandchildren  grow up and their  children  grow up.

I am thankful for a wonderful  doctor that still keeps in touch  even tho he has left the area and the great  aftercare that I get  from  the EMMC program.  Thank you Dr Clough for taking me on as a patient.

I am  thankful for the wonderful friends that i have made this year.   No one else  understands  being fat other than  other  fat or  formally fat people.  I love my husband  but he does not understand the concept.  He just says  dont eat it.   But  he  refuses to try to get weight off and  by the wii scale he is obese and he does not believe it lol.

I am thankful for the   wonderful children i have and grandchildren.  I wish everyone  could  enjoy  the  feeling of being a parent.   It sure can be awesome  most of the time.

I   am thankful  for the  greater spirit  that guides my life in ways i dont always understand.  

I am thankful for my school bus  the children on it,  their parents  and  my job.  I  never  thought i would ever do a job like this but i guess after  20 years it must be a good fit.

I  am thankful for so much and hope the new year  brings even  a quarter of the good life that i have had this year.  I cant  write it all it would take forever.

Happy New Year Patty your a great friend. I am so glad we meet...We all are very lucky to be getting happy and healthy all at the same time..Its been a great ride.. Hope all your hopes and dreams come true for 2009.. Good luck to your son on his process for RNY in 2009..

What a great post...makes us stop and think about just exactly how much we all have to be Thankful for. 
And what a great friend you are...I'm very Thankful that I had the chance to meet you and get to know you...
You have no idea how much your visits meant while I was at EMMC...and I Thank You very much for them and for being my "walking buddy"    You are a very special lady and I hope you realize that !! 
And Thanks for the "pit-stop" yesterday...I enjoyed our "chat" a lot.
