what a day. cleared snow for over 2 hours without a break. felt good too. went to work for 4 hours and came home and used my new snowboard for another hour. i'm trying to master a small jump. so far the jump is winning. we plan to go to mt. abram friday for a day of snowboarding. god i'm having a blast this winter. i can't believe how easy it is to get in and out of my board. no gut in the way! falling isn't as bad either, except when i hit my head! no biggie. not much up there anyway! get out and enjoy this beautiful day and snow. going to the Y at lunch for a run/walk. my goal is to run 1 mile without stopping. almost there!

It feels great to not be exhausted after all that doesn't it?   Be careful out there on your new board!   A helmet is a great idea!  Watch those "butt" bones too!  They don't have padding like they used to!  Have fun!

You reminded my. I have x-country skis. I should dig them out, dust them off and give them a try.
They were an xmas gift about 20 years ago. I KNOW they haven't been touched in the 10 years since we moved to this house.

I have got to dust off my attitude!! I hate winter!!!! and I hate going out in winter, I am going to try to figure out one thing I can do outside cuase I've got to tell you walking away the pounds in front of my tv might be the most boring 45 minutes i have ever spent, I bought 2 more dvds Tae Be and pilates to see if I could be less annoyed than I get with Leslie Sasone

It was magic when she realized who she had become...
