Bowel Prep Question

Thank you Kathi! I'm glad we didn't have to do it either, but I do wish I could do this for her.
I didn't try to talk her into RNY, Lapband is what she wants and I think its best for her too.
I'm excited for her.

Yes, whatever is best for her, it is her decision.  I was just teasing as we have both done so well with the RNY... For me anyway, it has been SO easy!

Megan wants to know if she's going to be sore after the bowel prep does its work?
Will she need diaper rash ointment?

wellll??  if you want to know the truth towards the end of the night it feels like your pooping fire.  and you stop peeeing and it just goes right out the pooper.. anything else???  maybe a little vaseline will help.  It does work well tho.  and tell her, if she has to fart, "DON"T"  go sit on toilet first.  lol

I got some flavored kind, but quite honestly....it's NASTY...either way! 
I'd get some tucks pads or something to sooth the butt.........it get pretty raw after a while!  BUT...it's over with soon enough!

No I agree with Cheryl only in our house we cause those a SHART sorry snow day was crappy yesterday we cleared about 24 inches but at least i could do it this year!!!

Tell her to just set up shop in the bathroom.  Bring her laptop or something to read. She'll be there awhile. I haven't had surgery yet, but have had to do it for Colonoscopies (no fun).  But I agree, drink it quick as possible and have a glass of water ready to chase it with!
