Thunder! Lightening! and snow?

Did anyone else have thunder and lightening with this snow storm? I don't think I have ever experienced that before....at least that I can remember.

OMG   YES   dont think we ever will get out lol.   We have   around  23 inches of  snow  hard to tell it  has blown around so.

It is 3 am and will get hubby up soon  need to get  porches shoveled  hard to get out doors.

  Not sure if we will have school or not right now.   Going to be hard to get out.

We really got hit this time.

Consistently in  the yard we have 18  to 22  inches  so somewhere around there!!!!

We didn't have thunder & lightening but we sure got the wind and snow and it's still snowin' & blowin' as we speak...
I really doubt there'll be school today but I've got my plowman coming back (early) this morning just in case...

He was here about 9:00 last night but with all the drifting you can't even tell we've been plowed !!  The snow is right up with the bottom of the door...if I let the dog (miniature poodle) out he'll drop outta sight as soon as he steps out the door.  (lol)

We didn't with this storm, but I have seen it in another blizzard.

We got about 18" here. Sam and I shoveled and plowed. Off to work. Delayed start for noon today.

I'm counting shoveling as my exercie today
