Rockland Maine Lobster Festival

trying to find a good place to go away with sister this summer.  was looking into taking the train from Brunswick to Rockland and go to the Rockland Maine Lobster Festival, but .... the problem is my DH won't touch fish, not lobster, not shrimp, NADA... he is a freak about going to any restaraunt named after fish, like the REd Lobster or anything.  CAn anyone tell me, if they actually serve food there. like burgers, hot dogs, and french fries.   Freakin guy??? He'll be licking butter off of me for a week.

I live in Rockland and have been to the festival many times.  They serve everything.  Seafood, burgers, chicken, you name it they have it.  If you plan on staying overnight plan on making reservations far in advance due to the hotels and motels being booked early.  Let me know if you need any more info.  Tracy

Well, if you do come down let me know. My work shares a parking lot with the train and I would be happy to come and be your tour guide. LOL Yes, the serve all the goodies there and homemade french fries.

DH will find plenty to eat that doesn't swim or crawl on the ocean bottom.
