Getting to know youuuuu

1.  Who is your best friend and how long you known them, how often and what do you do together.   I've had many friends, some closer to me at different times in my life, of course my DH, but, now after 50 years of not liking each other, my sister and I are becoming very close, and plan on getting closer.  We just decided this week, to make a once a month date, w/DH's to go for DInner or hike or do something special.

2. What keeps you awake at night?  Worrying about my DD and her finances and life problems.

3.  Who are you most jealous of?  I don't think its jealousy, as much as being envious.  My SiL just has her second Plastic Surgery, TT and breast reduction.

4. What are you looking most forward to for 2009?  My DD's wedding in August. 

5. what is your biggest material pride and joy? my home and gardens.

1.  Who is your best friend and how long you known them, how often and what do you do together.  

A gay guy....we joke about him (and now his partner) being my gay husbands. I've know him for about 9 years now. We do a variety of things together and it varies how often we get together - but I'd say on average every other week...but we are on the phone probably every other day. We go to movies, events, dinner, shopping, overnights to my camp and play games a lot. Oh yeah....and a lot of laughter.

2. What keeps you awake at night? 

Right now, not much. After having gone through some of the things I have in life - I realize how little control we really have and now just go for the ride, with the ups and downs.

3.  Who are you most jealous of? 

Yeah- envy is a better word - it drives me crazy that every one my height and weight wear clothing sizes at least one to two sizes smaller.

ETA: wait a cotton pickin' minute! You know what? Cheryl - I'm envious of your gardening ability - I can kill a plant quicker and faster than anyone else on this planet!!!!    

4. What are you looking most forward to for 2009?  

Summer. I love the summer and all the activities and events.
 

5. what is your biggest material pride and joy?

I know this may sound strange - but I guess my dog Tiera - being blind she actually is an inspiration to all kinds of people along with her uniqueness - she make strangers and friends smile like no other dog I've owned.

1.  Who is your best friend and how long you known them, how often and what do you do together.   It would be DH. We met in 1974, married in 1976 so 34 years known, 32 married. We do most everything together, shopping, vacationing, flameworking, RV'ing.

2. What keeps you awake at night?  Thanks to Zoloft, not much. I used to stay awake up with panic attacks about anything and everything. I told my doctor I solved the problems of the world at 2-3 AM.  I now fall asleep about 5 minutes after my head hits the pillow.

3.  Who are you most jealous of?  Not jealous, but anyways.... people who are about a big around as a pencil and don't understand weight fluctuations, counting calories or proteins, choosing foods wisely, exercising, various clothing sizes,   etc.

4. What are you looking most forward to for 2009?  The birth of #2 grandchild, July 5th or there abouts. 

5. what is your biggest material pride and joy? Not  material, but family, friends and my chocolate laborador; Sage

1.  Who is your best friend and how long you known them, how often and what do you do together.   My best friend Darlena, we've been best friends since 7th grade way back in 1984, over 24 years ago, we share everything with each other. I love her so much. If I didn't have her I would be lost! We do everything together.

2. What keeps you awake at night?  Thinking about what I have to do at work the next day or what I have to do that week. Or worrying if I got everything done. My mind never shuts off, my coworker says I have "monkey brain" lol

3.  Who are you most jealous of?  Of people that have enough money to help support their children finacially for the rest of their lives. I wish I could give my children the world, but I can't.

4. What are you looking most forward to for 2009?  The Spring and Summer months. I can't wait to open my pool! I love the warm weather, I hope the summer of 2009 is warmer than 2008 was.

5. What is your biggest material pride and joy? I'm very proud of my home. I grew up poor and we lived in the worst places, places that should of been condemed, I was to embarrassed to have friends over. Having a home that looks nice, is warm and safe means alot to me.

1.  Who is your best friend and how long you known them, how often and what do you do together.   I really don't have any close friends left.  Since I've moved around so much, I've lost touch with most of my high school and college friends.  My mom and my daughter are probably the two I'm closest with now.  I would have said DH, but I'm mad at  him right now, so he doesn't count!  haha

2. What keeps you awake at night?  Worrying about finances and the future for my kiddos.  Where am I gonna get money for any of them to go to college??  How I can help DS #1 succeed in school (he struggles ALOT!!!!!)   Brain NEVER stops working!!!!!!!!

3.  Who are you most jealous of? Not sure if this is jealousy or envy.......I would love to have a great imagination and be creative like others!  I'd also love to look as good as some people do in their clothes....

4. What are you looking most forward to for 2009?  Our tax refund, so we can get some bills paid off and MAYBE take a small vacation??  Even IN the state of Maine would be nice!!!!

5. what is your biggest material pride and joy?  Not really sure about this one.......I am most proud of my kids and DH.......My Family......do they count?

2. What keeps you awake at night?  I'm a Zoloft guy as well, not much keeps me awake anymore.

3.  Who are you most jealous of?  People at the end of their weight loss journey, as petty as it sounds, people who have hit goal and are doing great and I think to myself, wow, I wonder if that will ever be me (sorry Cheryl, I know the band is a lot harder, I really do, but my insecurities just win out).

4. What are you looking most forward to for 2009?  Looking for another boy the same age as Dylan to Adopt!!!!!!! Glenn and I talked today and he agreed that we need another young man in our house to love and take care of, I am sooooo happy!. 

5. what is your biggest material pride and joy? My cd collection isn't that stupid? I havew sooooooooooo many and they all mean something to me, so stupid when I think about it LOL.

1.  Who is your best friend and how long you known them, how often and what do you do together.   I have not had a close friend  since my first divorce in  1980   I  seemed to have lost all  my  friends after we got divorced and my life changed.  I went from a home mom to a working single mother and it was very hard.   I  had  nothing in common with anyone any more.   Since  rny  I have  started coming out of my shell a little and have a few  friends  that i do think alot of.  Barb,  Linda,  Sherry.
Dont do a lot with  these people but  have a great time when  i  do.

3.  Who are you most jealous of?  Envious  i guess of  people getting to goal.  alot faster than i will but that is ok.  as long as it keeps going down..

4. What are you looking most forward to for 2009?  Going to hershe pa in May.   on a conference love to go there  and relax



5. what is your biggest material pride and joy? my little hairless dog  Jessica  just like playing dolls.   get her dressed   and give her baths  and    she doesnt usually  talk back  or hide much lol and  goes potty outside so i dont have to change diapers lol


Sorry this is late all i was busy saturday and sunday and did not see it.

1.  Who is your best friend and how long you known them, how often and what do you do together.  
That would be Cheryl...we've been "best firends" since kindergarten...she still lives in Madison...we talk on the phone 2 or 3 times a week and go to lunch and a movie at least twice a month.

2. What keeps you awake at night? 
wondering when Ed McMahon's gonna knock on my door with my Publisher's Clearing House check !?!?!

3. Who are you most jealous of? 
life's too short and jealousy is such a waste of time

4. What are you looking most forward to for 2009?  
1.)  the birth of my new grandson...around the early part of April 
2.) my niece and her BF visiting from PA in August
3.) my (ex) SIL and her husband visiting from PA in July 
4.) and the income tax refund to get rid of some bills !! 

5. what is your biggest material pride and joy? 
not "material"...BUT..."My Three Sons" and my grandchildren
