Breakfast recipe
I;m an oatmeal girl.
Here's a recipe which is in the menu booklet we get at 6 weeks out, with some additions.
2 Tbsp quick oats
2 Tbsp pecans chopped ( or any other nut)
1/4 small apple chopped
1/2 cup water
Zap in the microwave 1-2 minutes til done
add:
2 Tbsp powdered milk
1 slenda
a bit of water to wet.
Cal 89, protein 6 g
I also add 1/2 schoop unflavored unjury to boost the protein another 10 g

Dh is doing GREAT. He'll be 1 week out tomorrow. He hasn't taken pain pills since Thursday night. He went with me to a 2 day flameworking class- napped in a comfy chair a bit, but mostly tool photos and monitored the class.
