Sunday Football

Oh, I hate Football and every Sunday this is a house full of Male Hormones.  OMG,  I don't have anyone to talk to, all I do is laundry, cook and hear screaming all day.  My DS has the day off, which makes it even worse, my DH turns into a couch potato with no ears.  OH< please help me guys, can you all entertain me?  Im done all my xmas shopping so I can't even go shopping. my house is cleanned.  I need to find a project.  oh, and did I mention, they got High Def tv installed yesterday.  The Testostorone (sp) is getting stronger as we speak.  well, off to get a little work done in cellar, sanding and mudding in new Man's cave before 1:00 game.  hope you are around for me to talk to later. 

OMG!!lol  I am soooo glad I don't have a husband(Got rid of him years ago!!) or a live-in....that would drive me up a wall!!  I will be on and off all day.....my son has a Christmas party to go to at 1, so we will be out for a few hours, and he wants to go sliding after that....there is like a whole inch of snow, but he still wants to go!!lol  I hope you have a great day....considering!!!!!  Talk to you soon......

I don't mind going and watching them play their high school games but football on TV is the absolute worse !!

I thought about taking a ride to the Christmas Tree Shop in Augusta but it just started snowing again

OOOOooooo I'd like to go to the Christmas Tree Shop!!!! I'm working, working, working on the living room walls - the painting will be a piece of cake - but the prep work sucks. A lot of self done carpentry done in the house - which I knew when I bought it and am having major things redone but not enough bucks right now to do the more cosmetic things - so without a handy man in my life I'm doing what I can....good thing I've watched a lot of HGTV so I had some idea of what to do!!!!!

Well off to sanding before I can paint.....

Oh yeah....football is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.....you have my sympathies!

Candace, I know your pain.  I am the queen of covering up mistakes.  I take it as a challenge.  I'm trying to figure out what to do behind my stove (wall) the wall is kinda bumpy and so noticable when the light is on, but I don't want to hang something there, pain to wash grease.  I think I found a great Idea on HGTV... just need to figure out how I will do it now.  they spray painted gold through a fancy grate and it made a great design, I just need to find the right (grate like object) I think i'll buy some cheap lace??? then stencil on some grape vine on the corner.  I love these projects.  I am also mudding and sanding in my Husband's new "Man's CAve" he is finishing in Cellar.  I can't wait to decorate for him.  I"m going to make a big mozaic wall for him.

I've seen something like that on an episode where they were doing a morracan theme - it looked awesome. You can buy the grating inexpensively at a hardware store. Sounds like what you have planned would be awesome.

I don't mind painting and decorating - my patience however is wearing thin on this prep work. .......is sanding with an electric sander considered exercise?

sorry cheryl i love watching football. everyone is gone,, hubby down working on the place we are renting out in january.. so Im here watching football, doing laundry, gettng all the paper work ready for taxes.. i have to do ours and my sons.. almost done the sons...we are going under business for the first time so it should be interesting hope i kept everything alright for the accountant..if not oh well i tried

I would love going to xmas tree shop, I wish we would have planned this earlier.  shoot, I havn't even showered and am in the couch potato mode, 1/2 way into making meat pies for the guys, stipped all the beds.  shoot.... I"m bringing my LM to a hockey game next Sunday, wanna all meet in Augusta next Sat.??? we could do lunch?

like mr simpson , man cave , woohoo!  scratch and sniff and bending elbows all day long .

ya well i guess too be like that but now , sunday just another day , it was like thanxsgiving ever sunday , but anyways how about those pats , lol
