I would try the prilosec for a couple of days, or you could have the flu..we still can get sick after surgry, and we just don't know what is normal sick and what is RNY sick...warm decaf tea, peppermint tea is a good idea too, not hot, warm...

I'm feeling much better. I didn't have any Prilosec. My doc inMaine wouldn't prescribe it, so I took some pepcid and it seems to have worked. We'll see. But I had been taking that all along until about 3 weeks ago, so I think I will go back to it. If it gets worse or persists, I'll go to the doc here. Thanks for all your good advice. I still need to watch my portion size. I have been eating all the right things, just a bit more carbs than I should, I think. My portions are an issue always. I'll do better, This felt yucky. Keep up the good work dearies! You are a wonderful reource to one another (and to me!)
