its kinda of weird , the other day i was looking at pics , which i hated too have taken ,i could not even think about how big i was  tipping the scale at  600 pounds , i was still living i think, or just getting by .the only reason i have even though of this is because people dont look or talk about me like they used too ,now that im at 320 , but i guess it will be something i have too get used too as i get smaller.

thanxs too those who listen

I think the hardest thing, bar none, is getting my head around the changes that others see, that they don't recognize me, or I turn a head for the first time in a hundred years...I am still the same me, I was ME at 236#, the same me now. It is hard, David, but it is good, too.  If you have a tougher time than you think you should be having, please find a counselor to talk to about the new emerging you. Congratulations on your phenomenal weight loss so far.
Kate

It was magic when she realized who she had become...

David you should be so proud of your self you have come a long way and most of it was on your own. I wish you nothing but sucess and I hope you get the couseling, I have not gone through the surgery yet I don't see Dr Wolfe until Jan 5th and I guess if all is well it should be a month to six weeks til surgery. I am getting excited. I am so happy for you and you shouldn't dwell on the comments of people who do not understand. I know being as high as 374 and only 5'2" I have had my share of lookers and commenters. I will never understand why some people choose to criticise others becasue of weight, color, short, tal whatever we may look lke aren't we all just the same underneath, we are all just humans.
I am sorry I got on a little rank about rude people, I wish you the best and you should be so proud of yourself,GREAT JOB.........................

This is certainly quite a trip, isn't it? So many changes - both inside and out - my head spins much of the time. Sometimes I also realize people are treating me differently - but you know what else? I'm also treating myself differently. A lot to adjust to,
