I got approval

I just got my approval letter form my insurance company. The insurance approved it within four days!!!!! The Dr's office called and left a message to call this afternoon but I was not home so I need to call tomorrow and get a date. The approval states my admission date is March 1, 2009. I'm not sure if this is my surgery date or not. It's a Sunday so I don't thing they would do it on that date. Anyone have any idea. Did your letters have your surgery date listed? Please let me know. I can't wait till tomorrow to find out. LOL

Yahoo! That's awesome. I suspect if it isn't the date, it will be fairly close - I've heard that she's scheduling that far out now.

Not sure but insurance companies do not have control over dates, it depends on your surgeon's schedule. I got my approval the Tuesday after Columbus Day and my date was Nov 10th, so about a month.

how exciting and great news! that date may be a deadline when the surgery needs to be done or the paperwork may need to be refiled after that. i think i had an expiration date on mine.
