Sunday Dinner

We  had  our  dinner   at my dads yesterday  the only one missing was the granddaughter  as  she is a teen and  you know that storry  she was in  NH  at a friends for a week.   Her  mom  is  areligious so without getting into a religious discussion we will just say  that she is not encoraged to do family things with  our side 

so enuf said   it  was a marvelous dinner.  I  at   a dinner plate full but it was mostly  salad and it took me  45 minutes i  ate very slow  had  tws tbsp carrots peas and mashed potato and  two ounces  turkey   and  lots of salad   A bite of a roll and it was wonderful.  All  desserts were made  with lowfat  cream cheese and splenda and my dads wife made a  apple pie with splenda too so i could indulge in it all.\\  It was great!!!!
And  i am thankful for what i have.!!!  My  DAD   is simply amazed at the weight i have lost  even tho i have only lost  2 pounds a week overall  but that is still good.  I  feel wonderful  can do  things  i havent  done for years.   \no medicines  except  vitamins and clothes sizes i havent seen in over  20  years.  It  has  saved my life.   I  am so  blessed  and thankful for the  surgery.  thank you  Dr  Lalor and dr Clough for the great  care.  And ty to my nuts  here in bangor  they have  taken  very good care of  me and all you have to do is ask for advise  and if they cant give it to you they will send you in the right direction. 

I  am  at my sisters in Dieppe  New brunswick  till tomorrow  afternoon and  i am going shopping in a few minutes  just a nice relaxful  day.

Patty glad everything went well at your dinner. It always nice to have family around.. we are going to have thanksgiving dinner at home this year. SOn wanted to take us out but why waste money when i can cook it.. I throw the turkey in while im out hunting in morning and cook the rest when i come in.. and if we get deer in between time well have just turkey and pumpkin pie..lol cause there all done just bought them at sams club..lol i cheated.. have great time with sister
