DH's surgery is near

DH starts his 2 weeks of liquid proteins today. His surgery is Monday, Dec 1 with Dr. Toder. This has been a long time coming. His surgery is 8 weeks after mine.
I will be staying in Bangor for his hospital stay. I'm excited for him.

I found the 2 week "liquid diet" to be harder the 1st week but definitely BORING for both weeks

I wish your husband the best of luck with his 2 weeks of liquid protein, I know it's tough but so worth it in the end. I think it's great that you are going through all of this together, what an awesome support system. My husband is thinking of the lab band but has not committed yet. I think he's scared and not ready to give up his food yet. My prayers are with both of you.
