MOODY Tuesday !!!!
We all have our everyday stresses, maybe more then one, we all handle it differently. Some of us eat, drink, graze, screem, ***** What is one of your stresses today and what you gonna do to handle it "the right way"... Lets learn from each other, and it might help us do things differently and recover from it without hurting ourselves or someone we love.
Today my stress is (ONE OF MY STRESSES) getting all the outside work done before winter. WE've got to pick up another load of wood, and stack, take in dock, bring trash to dump that was cleaned out of shed and DH has procrastinated bringing it, do all our leaves, take in all my pots and garden decorations and furniture, cleaning old cellar, and DH playing golf on every weekend or us having plans. I'm stressed and tired of bugging him about it. What i'm gonna do about it. I'm going to do some myself and make my husband feel a little guilty and he will help and will get it done, and the things I can't do, I will set an appt. with him to get it done, this will help him make the commitment and help me stop *****ing. I am doing this today. so I can sleep tonight and not think about the same thing over and over again.

NO NO NO, i'm very very lucky, and I'd be the first to say that, I just KNOW that lots of people have stresses, and today, this is mine. I'm so happy with my life, so lucky and so spoiled I get whatever I want, My DH, is a very hard worker and comes home in pain on a daily basis, so doing all this work for him is the least I can do, Just that, a few things, I can't physically do. and I need his help, I just thought we could share... that is all I was trying to do. Sorry if I sounded like a whinning spoiled brat.
Interesting that you would post this today about stress. My house closing has been put off yet once again - I've been working on this for over two months now and it literally is driving me crazy. I've been thinking about how to deal with stress - and certainly I've used food in the past to help make me feel better - but overwhelmingly for me it's the cigarettes I want - the concept is the same - both in their ways food and nicotine are substance abuses.
I just want to scream - what else can I do? Ok, I walked that seems to be what I'm using for stress release - and that freaks me out - what, me e-x-e-r-c-i-s-e?
I do like the concept of making an appointment with your DH for chores - that's a great idea and if I ever find another man in my life - I'm going to keep that little idea and use it....lol....realizing that the past men in my life were better with the chores than I was......

hey, its hard to find the perfect thing to keep our minds off stress, and I know what you mean, exercise !!! yak, why would I want to do that when I'm upset, I hate it. but, after you do it you feel so much better, proud. that you did it. There has to be something else we can do, other then mixing a drink, lighting up a cig or stuffing our face. we need a plan, that is why I posted this to get ideas??? thanks for your comment.
